This past week, March 22-24, was the annual meeting for the West region of the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship.  Our church hosted this event which included times of worship, business, education, and fellowship.  Churches from Arizona, California, and Idaho were represented.  Robert Parham, Executive Director of the Baptist Center for Ethics, was the main speaker and spoke on the Baptist response to issues such as the environment, specifically global warming, just war theory, and global poverty.  Dr. Mamie Oliver, a CBF pastor from Boise, Idaho, blessed us with a concert and message on Friday evening.  We also heard from various CBF Field Personnel and Chaplains who are doing a variety of mission work in the area. 

Thanks so much to everyone who brought food, helped serve the meals and refreshments, and supported the meeting through their presence and prayer support.  We couldn't have done it without your help! 

       

So this is the launch of our new website!  It is still in progress and we are continuing to work on it, but take some time to check it out, and make sure to check back here regularly to get updates on what's going on in our church.
